We keep this short and honest. Here is everything we collect, what we do with it, and how to make us stop — with no fine print tricks.

The short version

You share a little. We use it to help you. That's it.

When you take one of our healthy-aging assessments, you give us your name and email and tell us how you're doing across the pillars. We use that to build your personalized report and to stay in touch about healthy aging. We never sell your information, and we never share it for other people's marketing.

What we collect

Your name and email — only when you choose to unlock a report, download a PDF, or send us a message.
Your quiz responses — your answers to the healthy-aging assessment questions, along with your age band and the score results, so we can generate recommendations that fit your decade.
Messages you send us — anything you write through our contact form or by email.

We don't collect payment information on this site, and we don't ask for anything we don't need.

How we use it

To generate your personalized healthy-aging report and recommendations.
To send you the report you asked for, and occasional related emails — like new resources, posters, or program updates from BALNZ Foundation.
To improve our educational materials, using combined, anonymous patterns in the answers people give.

That's the whole list. Your health information is sensitive, so we treat it that way: it isn't shared with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

What we never do

Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Share your quiz answers with third parties.
Send you marketing for unrelated products or companies.
Ask for medical records, diagnoses, or insurance details.

You're in control

How to opt out

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom — one click and you're off the list. You can also visit our unsubscribe page, or simply reply to any email and tell us to stop; a real person will take care of it.

When you unsubscribe, we stop sending email right away. If you'd like us to delete your quiz responses and report entirely, just ask — email us at info@balnzfoundation.org and we'll remove them.

How your information is stored

Your details and quiz answers are kept in our foundation's secured database, and only BALNZ Foundation team members who need them to run the assessments and email service can see them. We don't use your information to make automated decisions beyond generating the report you requested.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses only the basic, necessary cookies and local storage it needs to function. We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't follow you around the web.

Children's privacy

Our assessments are designed for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, let us know and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and note the date at the bottom. If the change is significant, we'll tell you directly by email before it takes effect.

This page is our plain-language summary, written to be read. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for our full formal Privacy Policy, which governs in the event of any difference. Both should be reviewed by a privacy attorney before launch — particularly now that we collect health assessment data.
