By accessing or using the BALNZ Foundation website, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Educational Purpose
BALNZ Foundation provides educational information intended to promote healthy aging, physical activity, balance awareness, fall prevention, and related public-health objectives. Content is not individualized medical advice.
No Healthcare Relationship
Use of this website or participation in general educational programs does not establish a physician-patient, physical therapist-patient, or other professional healthcare relationship with BALNZ Foundation or its directors, employees, volunteers, advisors, or contributors.
Exercise and Activities
Users are responsible for determining, in consultation with appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary, whether particular exercises or activities are appropriate for them. Users should not perform an exercise or activity they cannot perform safely.
Assessments and Scores
Any future BALNZ self-assessment, balance score, fall-risk screening tool, questionnaire, or similar feature is intended for screening and educational purposes unless expressly stated otherwise. A score should not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis or guarantee that an individual will or will not experience a fall, injury, or medical condition.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, original BALNZ Foundation website content—including educational materials, graphics, program materials, written content, assessment designs, and branding—is owned by or licensed to BALNZ Foundation and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Materials may be used for personal, noncommercial educational purposes unless otherwise specified. Content may not be reproduced, sold, republished, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and resources for convenience or educational purposes. BALNZ Foundation does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, availability, or accuracy of independent third-party websites.
No Guarantee of Results
Individual outcomes vary. BALNZ Foundation does not guarantee that participation in an educational program or use of website materials will prevent falls, prevent disease, improve a particular medical condition, or produce any specific health outcome.
Website Availability
BALNZ Foundation may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update website content, programs, features, and these Terms as necessary.
Accessibility Statement
BALNZ Foundation believes information about healthy aging should be accessible to as many people as reasonably possible. Because many of the people we serve may be older adults or individuals experiencing visual, hearing, mobility, or other functional limitations, accessibility is an important part of our website design.

Research & Evidence Disclosure
BALNZ Foundation supports evidence-informed approaches to healthy aging, balance, mobility, strength, and fall prevention. References to scientific research are intended to communicate available evidence accurately and should not be interpreted as guarantees of individual outcomes.
BALNZ Foundation will distinguish between:

- Research programs — interventions being formally evaluated through research collaborations.
BALNZ Foundation will not represent a program as clinically proven or scientifically validated unless adequate evidence supports that statement. Research involving human participants will be conducted with appropriate ethical oversight, informed consent, privacy protections, and institutional approvals when required.
Conflict of Interest & Independence
BALNZ Foundation is committed to maintaining the integrity of its educational activities. Directors, officers, advisors, employees, and others acting on behalf of the Foundation are expected to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the Foundation’s Conflict-of-Interest Policy.
Corporate sponsorship, donations, grants, or partnerships will not automatically constitute endorsement of a company’s products or services. Educational recommendations should be based on appropriate evidence and the Foundation’s charitable mission rather than commercial considerations.
